The point of this essay is to highlight why many people and progressives are skeptical of Biden, and it says at the end what he is doing currently and should do in order to unite the progressive activist wing of the party with his platform. A lot of Berners I know are threatening not to vote for him as the nominee under the false claim that he’s “not progressive”, even though his platform is more progressive than they think. This essay details to supporters of his like yourself as to why they’re skeptical of him, and details to those skeptical of him the steps he’s taking.
